When the rules change: review and apply
Settio keeps every published version of the permit rules. When one changes, you see what it changes for each person and apply it. Nothing moves on its own.
- 1You're toldWhen Settio publishes a change to the rules your open cases follow, the people who run those cases get a notification with what changed and why, and on Monday an email if anyone is still waiting.
- 2Home: Rules updatedHome shows one row, Rules updated, with how many people the change touches. Review opens the list.
- 3See what changes per personFor each person: the change note (with a link to the source), the steps that would be added (+), removed (−) or changed (~, for example a due date that moves), and steps that stay because they're done or hold a document.
- 4ApplyApply updates one person's plan; Apply to all does everyone after showing the totals. On the person's page the same change shows as a banner: Review, then Apply.
- 5What never changesDone or waived steps and steps holding a document are never removed or rewritten. Steps that don't come from the rules (the household's relocation, permit monitoring, the authority's requests, leaving) are never touched.
The Activity tab's full log records the update with its change note.
Not ready yet? Leave it: the row stays until you apply.
Salary minimums in the rules follow the dated thresholds: when a new minimum takes effect, a person whose start date falls after it is matched against the new level; no rule edit needed.
