Agencies
Clients: run every company from one place
For immigration agencies: set up client companies, see all their cases, and work on them as their partner.
- 1Add a clientClients → Add a client: company facts, the HR contact to invite and their billing details. The HR contact gets an invitation: this is how a company joins your agency. While your plan is paused, or for Viewers, the button is locked and says why.
- 2Read the cardsClients shows one card per client, the ones that need you first: a pill (things need you, all on track, or nothing to do now), one sentence saying why (a request to start a case, people with a step at risk, permits running out within 3 months) and how many people are moving, have arrived or were refused. With ten clients or more, a search box finds one by name. Open a card for their people, team, company documents, prices and quotes, and agreements.
- 3Run a health checkImport their current permit holders and show them their risks (the client's Reports → Health): the best first meeting you can have.
- 4Work on their casesYour team sees every case of your clients. Home and People show each person's client; pick a client on Home or in People (or All in People on the client's page) to see only theirs, and My cases for the ones assigned to you. A yellow bar always shows whose workspace you're in.
- 5Who runs the casesOn the client's Team tab. "You do": their Admins and Members follow along, send documents and payroll, and sign. "They do, with your help": the same people start hires and work on cases, and you stay the partner on every case. Switching keeps everyone's role; only what the role allows changes, from their next click.
- 6Who starts casesClients you run ask you to start cases: their requests appear on the Clients page, and "Start case" opens the wizard with the details filled in. Trust a client to start cases themselves? On the Clients page, open Change per client under Can a client start a case themselves? and switch it on for that client (or on the client's own page). It is off for new clients.
The client's overview shows its HR contact, asked for the employer's own documents, such as its power of attorney. Nobody at the employer is emailed until you add one.
Where a country needs access from the client before you can file for them (for example a delegated user on the client's own government account), the client's overview lists it under Access to give us. Click Mark as given once the client has given it, and Settio keeps the date.
We file for both sides: on every case your agency runs, Settio assumes you hold a power of attorney from the employer and from the employee and do both parts of the application. Where the country allows a representative to do the employee's part (Sweden, Germany, Spain, Hungary, Norway today), the employee's application steps are yours; biometrics, collecting the card and registering on arrival stay theirs. Turn it off in the wizard or later in the person's Details → The move, which shows the steps that change before applying.
Powers of attorney: the client's overview keeps the company's own powers (to your agency or a named person, before which authority, until when) and lists its people's; Settio reminds your team a month before one ends.
Your notes on a client's case are internal to your agency unless you choose Shared with the client. Keep "slow to pay" to yourselves.
